Enrolments

Enrolments for 2024

Students who attend the following feeder schools are automatically accepted into HCHS: Bowen Road, Campbell Street, Goulburn Street, Lansdowne Crescent,  Lenah Valley, Moonah, Mount Stuart and New Town Primaries. 

Due to significant building works, Hobart City High School has been deemed at capacity for 2024. This means we cannot accept any more applications for out of area enrolments in any year level. This is to ensure the school can accommodate all local students and those local students who need to enrol throughout the school year. Enquiries for Year 7 2025

*Depending on local area enrolments, out of area enrolments may be accepted in Year 7, 2025. These will be accepted as per the Hobart City High School Out of Area Enrolment Procedure. This page will be updated with further information at the start of Term 1, 2024.
